This is the same as our YAB Box.  It is built in a smaller enclosure and does not have a 9v Battery option or a ground lift.  It is only powered by the 9v adapter option. 

The Idea Behind the YAB Box:

This is a Passive (a.k.a. True Bypass) switcher/router pedal that can switch between Two Outs "A" and "B" that can also have both Outputs simultaneously ON; also known as the "Y" function.  Output "B" has the option via micro-toggle to "lift the ground".  The pedal is handmade/hardwired for superior quality and functionality.

The Details: 

*A perfect sized strong and Durable Metal Enclosure 4.37" X 2.37" X 1.07". Fits nicely on boards.

*The pedal is a passive circuit so it only needs power to run the LEDs.  Runs on 9v adapter (Boss style) OR a 9v Battery (Comes WITH a battery, yeah I know what a concept huh!?).

*Silent switching with no pop or tone altering switching.  Switch flawlessly from one channel to the other. Including the "Y" (Stereo) function.

*No unused channel bleedover. Meaning, the channel not in use will not have any sound coming out of it.

*Top shelf True Bypass Switchers, In and Out Jacks and Military Grade Wiring.  That way, only the best quality is used to hold and retain ALL of your tone.  These are durable and produce the best signal.  We use different jacks on this pedal from our others because these jacks allow us to make the "Ground Lift" option available.  These are top notch Neutrik jacks. 

*Output B has a Ground Lift to disconnect the ground to allow a ground separation between the two amps.  This can help eliminate a ground loop problem by lifting the ground to B.  (you may have no need for this but it is there if it is the case)

*Convenient and easy to see and read layout (read on) along with jack layout options for the user to make this pedal fit to their setup rather than the user fitting to the ABY pedals layout.

The YAB Box is an AB/Y Switching/Router pedal that is 100% passive with NO buffers or additional circuits to run through (some refer to this as “True Bypass”).  Many PepTone YAB Box users come from that very common black annoying ABY pedal out there; it makes thumps and switches in a very clunky manner...yes that one! Yes, the PepTone is far superior.

 
There are 3 LEDs. You have LED "A" LED "B" and LED "Y". We make a "Y" LED so you can still see which single channel you will be going back to when "Y" will be turned off.  Some ABY pedals just have A & B LEDs and they both light up when “Y" is being used, but then how do you know which one you will be going back to when you turn off "Y"? This is why we just use a separate "Y" LED.
When using the “A or B” option (Y is not engaged), the unused channel has no sound bleed over so the unused amp is silent.

A big problem with most ABY boxes is the jack placement and layout is hardly ever conveniently since all setups are different. You plug in the jacks and you have to wire cables into a big mess since most ABY boxes have jacks placed in a generic layout.
