Further Explained:
The PepTone Double Troop is two of our "Troop" pedals built into one! The PepTone Double Troop gives you two independently operated 100% True Bypass Loop Sections right at your feet. You can have a simple setup with one pedal in each loop section to turn that pedal ON and OFF (AND remove any buffer when bypassed!) or you can throw as many pedal as you wish into each loop. The options are endless.
You can also have a preset setting for your setup. Lets say you use a Chorus pedal with a overdrive pedal at ALL times...so you want those two pedals on at the same time, well put them in ONE loop section and then when you kick on that loop section those pedals BOTH go on with one stomp!
Using this pedal gives you the Straight to the amp tone when not using any pedals. A lot of pedals have buffers in them that can drain and degrade your tone. This takes the pedal OUT of your signal when you are not using them.
The PepTone Double Loop is a great tool for those who want to have two loop sections completely hardwired / True Bypassed from their signal. Leave the pedals in the Loop section always ON and then use the PepTone Looper to switch them ON and OFF.
You can also use this pedal as a Tuner Mute option. An AB Box for Outputs OR Inputs.
*We also offer an "INVERT SWITCH" add on! (Add on an extra $20 added to the listed price) This is an amazing switch for the tone freaks! This inverts the order of the Loops! For example the order is Loop 1 section and then it goes through Loop 2...well now you can make the Loop 2 section BEFORE Loop 1!
So the argument for things like "which is the better order for Fuzz and Wah Wahs": 'Fuzz first then to Wah Wah' OR 'Wah wah first then to the Fuzz pedal'? Now it is A TON easier to accomplish to find out how YOU like it. You could also use a Clean Boost pedal in one Loop and then a Distortion/Overdrive in the other so you can Boost your Distortion/Overdrive OR Distort/Overdrive your Booster! Completely different sounds and tone options!
"Why would I need a 100% True Bypass Looper?"
Non-True Bypass pedals have a buffer in them that your signal runs through even when your pedal is OFF! This handy pedal allows you to take those out of your signal when not in use to purify your signal. This pedal has TWO individual operating Loop sections! Each section has a "Send" and "Receive" to Send to your effect/s of choice Input and then go from the effect/s of your choice Output to the PepTone Double Loopers Receive. Then that Looper controls when the effect is in your signal or not!
You can run as many pedals in each looper section as you wish. Some just use it to get one pedal out of the signal.
Ibanez, Cry Babys and DOD pedals have a poor input buffers that are noticeable with one pedal in your signal. Boss pedals have the better buffer in my opinion but after a few you may notice a slight decrease in tone. Take one or take a few out.
Use it as a standard Double Looper with two Loop sections OR use one section for a Tuner Mute section (have the "SEND go to your Tuner to "True Bypass your Tuner Pedal" and then the other for a True Loop section OR use one Loop section for your "Clean guitar pedal tones" and the other for your "dirty guitar pedal tones"...the options are endless!
