This pedal is a has TONS of uses. More commonly it is used for its name sake: a 100% True Bypass Looper; you can slap a buffered (FET Switching) pedal in the loop section and it elminates the buffer when you are not using the pedal. AKA-Straight to the amp tone!
You can also use it as an AB switcher between instruments or amps and even a Tuner Mute switcher as well. Many functions for a small little guy that will be around no matter what setup you have!
The Details:
*Super durable "Gun Metal" Color Enclosure 4.37" X 2.37" X 1.07" (This is the absolute smallest enclosure for this pedal that fits a battery inside)
*Long lasting top shelf True Bypass stomp switch
*Switchcraft Jacks for maximum connection and longevity; your tone matters!
*Ultra clear super bright LED!
*9v adapter option (Center pin negative) AND a 9v battery option: Yes, the battery IS included!
Additional Pedal Tips:
The PepTone Troop has other uses, even for pedals that are already True Bypass! Use the pedal as a Solo/Clean/Dirty preset pedal: Let's say you use 2 pedals for your "clean tones". You want to use them for every solo and you don't want to click on 2 pedals just to solo; well try this out:
*Put the 2 pedals of choice in the Troop's Loop section. Lets say you have a Compressor and Chorus pedals you want to use at once as a "Pre-set". Well, put them in the Loop section and leave them both ON (you will use the Troop to switch them ON and OFF) and it only takes one stomp to get 2 pedals going!
*Put your Tuner in the Loop Send (without Returning the Tuner signal and....silent true bypass tuning!)

All I wanted was a pedal with a single switch that could kick all my preset effects on and off. That's what this pedal does. It's built well and has a 9v adapter. The battery sounded a bit loose in there so I just removed it. When they say it's a bright LED, they're not kidding. It actually lights up everything above it, so just be aware. The custom color LED also really makes it stand out from the rest of my pedals, so there's never any doubt whether it's on or not if you're busy singing. Add the fact that it's hand-made in America, it looks good, it's got a 5-year warranty and it costs less than many other pedals of the same vein, it's a great pedal to add to your setup.
